Kyra Reed, Director of Partnerships, The Panther Group
Kyra Reed is the Director of Partnerships at The Panther Group and the founder of Women Employed in Cannabis (WEIC), the largest online community for women working in cannabis. She is a marketing, branding and social media expert, called a pioneer by Entrepreneur Magazine in 2011 for her cutting-edge work with the legendary Sunset Strip. In 2019 and 2020 she was acknowledged as one of the “100 Most Important Women in Weed” by Green Market Report and awarded the Women’s Leadership Award for Community Activism in 2022. Kyra was a social media industry veteran and a community-focused brand innovator.She was named a ‘Social Media Pioneer,’ by Entrepreneur Magazine and her work in social media has been featured in The NY Times, Tech Crunch, NPR and 20/20. She has guest-lectured at UCLA and USC and has spoken at a number of conferences, including SXSW, Digital Hollywood, Digital Music Forum West, Blog World, ASCAP Expo and more. Her work has been featured in top tier media outlets including The New York Times and NPR. Reed is the author of Blog 101, a beginner’s guide to blogging and a contributor to The Power of Real-Time Social Media Marketing. She has been a speaker on branding and marketing at MJ BizCon, Global Cannabis Conference and New West Summit. She currently hosts a podcast, Women Leading in Cannabis, on the PodConX Network.
Gabriela La Rage, Director of Investment Relations, Panther Group
Gaby has been in the cannabis industry since 2019 sourcing debt and equity. She then became a managing partner at a boutique advisory CRE (commercial real estate) firm out of the Boston/Las Vegas area and has raised nearly $30MIL in capital to the space.
Her true grassroots is in the Las Vegas start-up community since 2014. As a Las Vegas native, her network and marketing background has paved her path promptly into our emerging space. She recently joined the Panther Group to continue helping the cannabis sector as Director of Investment Relations.
