Diane Afrooz, a seasoned entrepreneur with a decade of experience as a salon and yoga studio owner and an 8-year tenure as an Aveda national brand educator, made a pivotal, pioneering shift into the hemp industry in 2019. Co-founding a hemp farm, she quickly adapted to the evolving market, navigating the industry’s early challenges, and supporting the development and launch of Kite Soda, Minnesota’s first craft THC soda, in September 2022.
