As New York’s adult-use cannabis market continues to evolve, the Type 3 Branding License opens a unique pathway for businesses to build and promote cannabis brands without owning or operating a dispensary. This presentation will explore the purpose and scope of the Type 3 license, including who it’s for, what it permits, and how it fits into the broader regulatory framework. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of the opportunities this license presents for brand development, strategic partnerships, and market visibility.

In addition to the licensing overview, this session will cover effective marketing strategies tailored specifically for cannabis businesses in New York. Topics will include navigating advertising restrictions, building brand identity in a regulated environment, leveraging packaging and product storytelling, and connecting with target audiences through compliant channels.

This session offers practical insights for creating a brand that resonates with consumers while remaining aligned with state regulations. Whether you’re planning to launch a cannabis product or grow your existing brand presence, this session will equip you with the knowledge to move forward confidently and strategically.
