Sources of Heavy Metal Contamination in Cannabis

With this presentation, attendees will be able to identify and prevent some of the more common sources of heavy metal contamination in cannabis products. Emphasis will be on the sources from soils, water, and nutrients. Attendees will be introduced to real-world scenarios that are applicable to their own business.

Charles Bogie, President, Integrity Testing Labs, LLC

Dr Bogie was born and raised in Oklahoma. He began his training at the University of Texas at Austin in the area of Transition Metal chemistry. He received his BS in chemistry from the University of Oklahoma and subsequently entered the MD/PhD program at OUHSC. Dr Bogie was awarded a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology and now practices Ophthalmic surgery in Oklahoma City. He also serves and the President and Medical Director of Integrity Testing Labs, a premiere Cannabis testing lab in Oklahoma.
