The panel moderator will ask questions from the panelists to learn more about the state of cannabis analysis in Washington. Recently it was told to the labs by the WSLCB (WA’s regulatory agency) that mandatory pesticide screening for all cannabis products can be expected within the year. Since July of 2018, the Laboratory Guild has been working on establishing standards for the cannabis analysis laboratories and with so many issues already persisting with the quality assurance, it is going to take a concerted effort comprised of professionals to establish an equitable system that works for all including the end consumer.
