Robert Elmouchi, Environmental Quality Analyst, EGLE

Robert Elmouchi is an Environmental Quality Analyst for the Air Quality Division, Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE).  Robert has been working for the Air Quality Division since 2002 and is a specialist in natural gas storage and transmission facilities, electric power plants, incinerators and marijuana processing.  In 2017, Robert became a charter member of EGLE’s Marihuana Workgroup. The workgroup evaluated the applicability of existing regulations to the marijuana industry, and produced a white paper on the environmental impacts of marijuana cultivation and processing.  Robert is also a retired commercial photographer and amateur videographer. In 1999, Robert coauthored Beach Freaks’ Guide to Michigan’s Best Beaches with his wife Joan, in which they review over 100 of Michigan’s beautiful beaches.
