Microorganisms are present all around us. This however becomes a problem when microorganisms are found on cannabis that cause disease or illness. Whether for medicinal or adult use, cannabis needs to be safe for the consumer to use. In order to do this it helps to understand how to reduce microbes on post-harvest flower and other consumables. One of the ways this can be done is by understanding the D10 Value (1 log reduction) of microorganisms using ozone, radio frequency, and x-ray. This talk will seek to help raise the understanding of microorganisms and how understanding the D10 values of those organisms can help to make products safer for consumption.
