Peter Holzworth received his formal training in the financial industry as a portfolio manager with  Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith. However in 2008, Mr. Holzworth left the company to launch Pennington Asset management, a Florida based registered investment advisory practice. He soon partnered with former executives of Ernst & Young to launch the Pennington Fixed Income Fund, Eisbar Asset Management and Thompson Mactavish Opportunities Fund. Successfully operating these companies until 2014, Mr. Holzworth pivoted to the cannabis industry. In 2015 Peter joined BioTrackTHC as CFO / CIO . There he oversaw the legal cultivation, processing, manufacturing, testing and retail of over $1.4 billion of legal cannabis transactions. Mr. Holzworth was a key member of the team awarded the cannabis track and trace contracts, designing software trace ability systems providing transparency to the location and interaction of every legal gram of cannabis in real time for   WA, IL, NM, HI and NY. Mr. Holzworth led the company to service over 1800 compliant cannabis operators in 25 states and 5 countries establishing BioTrackTHC as the most widely used seed to sale cannabis tracking system in the world.

Most recently Mr. Holzworth has served in various roles for investment institutions, technology companies and leadership organizations in the cannabis industry and currently utilizes his national network for the betterment of Yes Studio LLC, a consultancy practice he formed alongside the Fortune law firm Zuber Lawler, where he serves as the Director of Cannabis Client Services.
