Farmer Tom is a visionary in organic cannabis cultivation, dedicated to sustainable farming, outdoor living, and setting the highest standards for safety and efficacy in the industry. His brand embodies this mission, blending innovation with integrity to drive positive change.
As the first cannabis farmer to collaborate with a federal agency, Tom partnered with CDC/NIOSH to deliver groundbreaking training on cannabis production and processing. He also guided the agency toward using the correct scientific term “cannabis” instead of outdated slang. This historic study, now archived in the Library of Congress, set new standards and expanded federal understanding production and processing of the plant.
Beyond the farm, Tom has been a key advocate in legislative progress, working with Washington State lawmakers to legalize cannabis concentrates. His educational efforts helped prevent property damage, reduce harm, and save lives by replacing dangerous, unregulated practices with safe new alternatives. He also co-instructed Cannabis and Your Health at Clark College in Vancouver, Washington, and leads the Hemp Farming Academy to train the next generation of sustainable farmers.
Despite his many achievements, Tom remains grounded in his core values, integrity, community, and innovation. He continues to break barriers, educate, and inspire, ensuring that the future of cannabis is rooted in sustainability and responsibility.
In this seminar, Tom will discuss the future of cannabis as a pharmaceutical.
